Went in for lunch at about 1:30 in the afternoon, it was pretty busy, got one of the only tables left. My wife had the chicken fajitas, and I had the Cajun grilled chicken pasta plate, she couldn't eat all her lunch so I ate some of it, I thought it was ok not great the chicken was a little rubbery and lacked any real seasoning, the rice and other fixings were good though, my Cajun grilled chicken pasta was good, it reminded me more of grilled chicken in Alfredo sauce, minus the Cajun seasoning, I believe they forgot the art of using seasoning on their food or maybe they figure most people can't have seasoning on food, regardless I for one love my food to have flavor, so simple enough change your menu to say unseasoned chicken in Alfredo sauce, and plain grilled chicken in your fajitas, well at least the waitress was fantastic and stayed on top of everything, if all else fails maybe I will go back to try some adult drinks, but probably not the food.

I'm apart of a soccer team and still going to school but we had a game 20 minutes away and we asked to eat here and they were rude about it and did not want us here.

DISCLAIMER: I'm basing this review on how Chili's compares to other similar dining experiences in the area. On the scale of chain restaurants in smaller cites, Chili's in Montrose, CO is one of (if not the) best in town. Yes better than Applebee's, Denny's, and even better than Mi Mexico. [Sadly those are the only other three non-fast food chain restaurants in Montrose. Unless you count Starvin' Arvin's...but we won't do that.]
Yes it's Chili's. I know. But this location serves great food, the place is clean, and service is very friendly. You may be shocked to hear this, but it could be said that it has the best Mexican food in Montrose, CO. That's not say that Chili's burritos are anything to write home about (they are good though), but it does say something about how generally bad Mexican food is in this town. (I'm looking at you El Jimador...)
Anyway, go eat at Chili's. It's a safe bet as far as food goes. It tastes great and it isn't overpriced for what you get. Yes they do have a kid's meal. $4.99 for most options -

Came in for lunch and not only was Santa here but they were taking donations for saint judes. Jamie was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. Definitely worth a come back

Busy on a Friday night. Place was packed with families as this must be one of the top places to eat in Montrose. Like the new menu (and the calories listed for each entree). Our server Montana rocked the service even though she was slammed!
